All Aurious pieces are proudly crafted in Malaysia by the finest local craftspeople.

916 (22K) gold is about 91.6% pure, while 999 (24K) gold is about 99.9% pure. 999 gold is the softest, purest, and most malleable form of gold. This makes it an easy material to craft with, but scratches and dents easily.

To overcome this, 999 gold is often mixed with other metals. The term 916 is used to denote that the piece is made of 91.6% pure gold, with the remaining amount being composed of metals like copper, silver, and zinc.

For instance, if you have 10 grams of 916 solid gold, it would contain 9.16 grams of pure gold; and the rest of the weight would come from additional mixed metals.

Solid gold jewellery is just as the name suggests. Different karats of gold are determined by the purity of gold in the material. The higher the karat (K), the purer and softer the gold. Solid gold jewellery does not oxidise or discolour, making it the most durable and highest quality jewellery available. Solid gold is hypoallergenic and its purity ranges from 10K to 24K.

At Aurious, we want to be as transparent as possible about our jewellery prices. We calculate the value of all Aurious pieces based on two factors:

  1. Current 916 (22K) Solid Gold Price – This is the current value of 916 solid gold for each jewellery. This value is yours upon purchase and serves as accessible savings for the future. The value of your Aurious piece is calculated by multiplying the jewellery weight by the price of 916 gold per gram. *
*Individual jewellery weight can fluctuate by up to 0.2 grams per design.
  2. Workmanship Fee – This is the fee that includes design, workmanship, and insurance costs.

Price  =  Jewellery Weight (G)  x  Current Gold Price   +  Workmanship Fee

Yes! We craft all our pieces with the full understanding that they will be heirlooms or investments. Aurious is a proud member of FEDMAS, and our jewellery are routinely tested by FEDMAS for gold purity.

FEDMAS is a testing facility for precious metal purity tests. The laboratories of FEDMAS are the only assay offices in Malaysia accredited under MS ISO/IEC 17025:2005 recognised by Malaysian Standards and International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

Aurious does not currently provide personalisation or engraving, but we may offer this service in the future. In the meantime, do visit a professional jeweller or jewellery engraver if you would like to personalise your Aurious jewellery. Both laser engraving and engraving by hand will work well on 916 (22K) gold.

Please note, however, that we are unable to offer refunds and are not responsible for any damage to your Aurious jewellery once it has been modified.

Yes, Aurious pieces may be purchased and delivered as a gift directly to another recipient or yourself. Do indicate that an order is a gift at checkout.

You may cancel an order up to 24 hours after receiving an order confirmation via email, unless the order has already been shipped. You will not be able to cancel your order if it has already been processed.

We ship within 2 business days. The delivery lead time is as follows:

West Malaysia: 2 - 5 business days

East Malaysia: 5 - 7 business days

Shipping may vary depending on location, shipment method and seasonal factors. Kindly expect some delays during holidays, festive seasons, and inclement weather.

You will receive a notification email with a tracking number once your order has been shipped. You can track your parcel’s whereabouts using the link provided. Kindly allow 24 hours for your shipment status to display correctly on the courier tracking page.

All Aurious orders are shipped with insurance via DHL and will require recipient signature upon delivery. All orders within West Malaysia are charged a flat rate of RM20. East Malaysia orders are charged a flat rate of RM30.

Yes, we do same day delivery for certain areas within the Klang Valley. The cost of delivery is based on how far you are from our office. Same-day delivery is only applicable during business hours and if the order is placed before 12pm. If your order is placed after 12pm, we will arrange for delivery on the next working day.

Key in your address at the checkout page to see if it is eligible for same-day delivery. This option can only be selected if your address is eligibile.

Yes, self pick-up is available. You can choose the self pick-up shipment option on the check-out page.

Exchange & Return

If you have bought a wrong item, size, or design, you can request for an exchange within 3 days of receipt, subject to stock availability. Email us with your request at Items will not be accepted for exchange or return after 3 days.

  1. To be eligible for an exchange, all products must be returned within 7 days in a new and unused state, in perfect condition, with all protective materials in place and tags and stickers attached to them (if applicable), as well as the original Aurious box and delivery packaging. All accessories, sales receipts and documents must be included.

  2. Once your original order is received and inspected, an email will be sent to you to confirm receipt. Aurious reserves the right not to accept any return if the product shows signs of wear, or has been used, altered or modified from its original condition in any way.

  3. When the order passes inspection, we will proceed with the refund in store credit. You will be able to see your store credits in “My Account” the next time you login on the Aurious web shop.

  4. You may then place a new order based on your exchange request. 

  5. You will have the option to pay with store credit at checkout.

  6. All postage fees for returns and exchanges must be borne by the customer.

  7. Exchange and return can only be done once per order.
